Human NK2R Full Length Protein, Flag,His Tag (Detergent)
NK2R is a G protein-coupled receptor with high affinity for the tachykinin Substance K (Neurokinin A). Upon activation, it triggers a phosphatidylinositol-calcium signaling pathway, leading to intracellular calcium release. The receptor's binding affinity follows the order: Substance K > Neuromedin K > Substance P. NK2R also regulates energy metabolism and has shown significant potential in appetite control. Due to its diverse functions, it is considered a promising therapeutic target for conditions such as asthma, irritable bowel syndrome, obesity, and type 2 diabetes.
