Human GPR146 Full Length Protein, His,Flag Tag (Detergent)
GPR146 (G Protein-Coupled Receptor 146) is a class A orphan G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) . GPR146 is encoded by the GPR146 gene located on human chromosome 5 (5q12.1) and is broadly expressed in metabolic tissues, including the liver, pancreas, and adipose tissue, suggesting potential roles in energy homeostasis.Emerging evidence links GPR146 to lipid and glucose metabolism. For instance, in vivo studies in rodents indicate that GPR146 knockdown reduces plasma cholesterol and triglyceride levels, implicating it in lipid regulation. Additionally, GPR146 may modulate insulin secretion via interactions with pancreatic β-cells, hinting at relevance in diabetes pathophysiology.(PubMed,31778654, PubMed, 38503280)
